Just search a word and you can find almost anything in any museum that has public databases of art.

For the most part, everything is Public Domain. But you can and should check just to be safe.

Museums have started releasing a lot of high resolution images that are free to use. I'll list some of the ones I know here

- The Smithsonian Open Access
- The Getty Open Content
- The Met Open Access
- Art Institute of Chicago Open Access Images

I also use "True Grit Texture Supply" stuff for a lot of my illustrations. I mostly use their free brushes
