You awaken in the grass outside the World Famous Cod House, a large house shaped, due to inventive use of stucco, like a large cod. The air is a cool 67 degrees Farenheit. The sky is clear.

In your inventory is a broken Nokia flip phone, a lighter, $23.19 USD, a library card, and a pair of nunchucks. You have no memories in your inventory.

To the south, you hear a wolf howl. To the east, you hear a vehicle (possibly an SUV?) crunch over gravel.

What do you do?

You open the door to the World Famous Cod House as the howling and driving get closer. It's clearly been abandoned for years. Gray light shines in through dirty windows, shining on cobwebs and reflecting off display cases. A quick look reveals a summary of its history:it was built by frozen fish mogul Felix Gluck in the 1950s as a PR event.

You see:

• more artifacts of the history of the house

• a kitchen

• a bathroom

• stairs going up

• the exposed foot of a ghost hiding under a table

While the kitchen shows obvious signs of disuse, it also feels less abandoned than the entry way. A refrigerator and freezer hum, the sink is free of grime, and the table shows only a thin layer of dust. Basically your average kitchen!

Outside, you hear the sound of a large car pull up, and its engine is stops humming.
